Coming up: The Edge of Things

ONLINE PERFORMANCE, December 27 & 28

Playful, rebellious, and innovative. Dive into the new generation of dance makers in The Edge of Things. Ethan Colangelo creates his first world premiere for NDT 2 – a dystopian rave. The new creation of our new associate choreographer Jermaine Spivey challenges dancers and audiences with his talent for improvisation, spontaneity, and structure. We also revisit Alexander Ekman’s FIT (2018), full of humour, wit, and absurdity.

Coming up: Into the Hairy

ONLINE PERFORMANCE, April 17 & 18 2026

NDT and Sharon Eyal Dance (S-E-D) have joined forces for this expanded interpretation of Into the Hairy (2023). Originally created for 7 dancers, the piece now brings together two companies in an expanded cast of more than 20 dancers – which was awarded in October 2025 with a Swan award. Into the Hairy tests the limits of contemporary dance by connecting classical dance with the underground club culture.

Previously online: RESONANCE

Livestream, October 10 & 11

RESONANCE, NDT 1, celebrates bold, thought-provoking, and iconic works from acclaimed makers that are close to our heart. In Mémoires d’Oubliettes (2009), Jiří Kylián explores the nature of memory. Associate choreographer Crystal Pite takes you back to her chilling and satirical boardroom drama The Statement (2016). We also revisit the evocative Woke up Blind (2016) by associate choreographer Marco Goecke, with its soul-wrenching score by Jeff Buckley.
