At NDT, we handle your data with care. We are aware that you place confidence in NDT. We also consider it our responsibility to carefully manage your privacy. We will provide you with more information about this in our privacy statement.

What personal data do we process?

To offer you the best possible service, we may process your personal data. This includes:

  • Attendance educational or talent development activities and/or workshops
  • Subscription to our newsletter
  • Financial support to NDT
  • Using our website and webshop

  • Participating in visitor research

Is my customer profile enriched?

Sometimes we supplement your data with information from external sources. This helps us gain better insight into our audience. We do this in the following ways:

Is my personal data shared with third parties?

Sometimes we work with third parties, such as printers, publishers, hosting providers, and IT suppliers. If they process your data, we ensure that this is done securely and carefully through contractual, technical, and organisational measures.

Collaboration with The Hague & Partners
The processing of personal data (postcode and house number) in order to generate statistical information (including segmentation based on the Culturele Doelgroepenmodel) and to gain insights into our audience. The results of these analyses cannot be traced back to individual persons. We use this anonymous data for reporting to our funding bodies and, for example, as input for our programming and marketing policy. NDT does not share personal data with third parties.

Has the theatre shared my personal data with NDT?
NDT does not sell entry tickets to performances itself. NDT has agreements with a handful of theatres (and venues) in the Netherlands and abroad where the theatre concerned shares the personal data with NDT.

At these theatres, you can choose whether to give permission to share your data with NDT. If you give your consent, NDT will receive the personal data you provided to the theatre when purchasing tickets or in another way.

NDT uses this data to inform you about current and future performances and to provide its services. You can object to the use of your data for these purposes at any time. For more information, please see the privacy statement of the relevant theatre.

When NDT receives your personal data, we will send you an email to inform you. In this email, we explain which data we have received and how you can object to the inclusion of your data in NDT’s records.

Which retention period do we apply?

NDT retains your personal data for no longer than the purposes for which processing is required. NDT will apply a maximum retention period of five years for personal data of inactive natural persons. Inactive natural persons refer to persons who have not used NDT services in this period. Once the retention period has elapsed, your personal data is erased from our systems. Prior to erasure, NDT will send you an e-mail informing you. The data is then only used anonymously for purposes such as market research, development of products and services and other purposes related to the general business.

How is my personal data secured?

We have taken technical and organisational security measures in accordance with the requirements of the GDPR to protect the data we have against loss or unlawful processing. Your data is handled confidentially and stored on secure servers.
