How and why did you become a professional dancer?

''I’ve always approached dance with passion and lightness, trusting the journey and allowing myself to discover where it might take me. I think what has carried me the furthest has been my tenacity and determination but above all, the sincerity and honesty I have always felt towards this art. I never really had a fixed plan to become a professional dancer. I simply wanted to stay curious, to keep learning, to challenge myself, and to let dance shape me along the way. Somehow, that journey brought me here.''

What is about NDT that inspires/challenges/deepens your artistry?

''What inspires me most about NDT is that, even when surrounded by so much talent, there is a deep sense of care for one another as human beings. It is one of the safest and most supportive environments I have ever experienced, where there is a genuine respect for each individual and for what each person brings into the room. I believe this sense of trust and care is at the foundation of creating meaningful art. When you feel supported and respected, you are given the freedom to take risks, to explore, to question and to discover your own voice. That balance between individuality and belonging is something that continues to inspire me and deepen my artistry.''

How do you think art impacts your personal life, and the way you view the world?

''I think that through all the twists, doubts and discoveries, art has taught me to look at the world with more curiosity and openness. In a world that is constantly moving faster, art feels like something that remains a place where we can pause, reflect, connect but at the same time, it’s never truly still. It constantly evolves with us, becoming stronger, more diverse, and more alive through the people who create it. It reminds me that there is no single way of seeing, feeling, or expressing something. It’s a community where different perspectives, personalities, and voices are not only welcomed, but necessary. It has shaped the way I see the world by teaching me to embrace those differences, to stay curious, and to keep evolving myself.''

What do you hope to bring to the audience as an artist?

"Whenever I am about to step on stage, I hope that the audience can see the honesty and vulnerability that we all carry within us. I feel that the stage is a place where a dancer can be truly naked by allowing themselves to be completely seen and offering a part of themselves without knowing exactly where it will land and the audience receives it in their own way, through their own experiences and emotions."
