Genevieve O’Keeffe was born in Maryborough, Australia. She trained at the Victorian College of the Arts and the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts. After her studies, she danced with West Australian Ballet and then with Theater St. Gallen in Switzerland. From 2019 to 2022, she was a member of MiR Dance Company in Germany. In the 2022–2023 season, she joined Nederlands Dans Theater, where she is now a member of NDT 1.
