Paul Lightfoot

During his dancing career, Lightfoot began choreographing together with Sol León. From September 2011 until August 2020, he also served as Artistic Director of the company.

The choreographic duo has worked together since 1989 and has created more than fifty works for the company. Their creations have received numerous dance awards and are performed by companies around the world. In 2002, León and Lightfoot were appointed Resident Choreographers of NDT, a position they held until August 2020.
