How and why did you become a professional dancer?
“Dance is the sanctuary I call home. It is a sacred place that feels intuitive. The moment I realized this passion could become a profession, there was no hesitation. It felt less like a decision and more like a natural continuation of who I already was. Pursuing dance as a career was just following the current that has always been gently drawing me in.”
What is it about NDT that deepens your artistry?
“Change, in every sense of the word, deepens and challenges my artistry. It’s purely an invitation to remain curious, present, and responsible for the way I intentionally carry myself. I find endless inspiration in the natural world and through the other artists I share this space with.”
How do you think art impacts your personal life, and the way you view the world?
“Dance is connection. A language beyond words. It is honest, unguarded, wildly poetic, vulnerable and so deeply human. Dance has strengthened my relationships through sensitivity, openness, and presence, constantly informing myself and life itself. It is a space where I can experience, manipulate, question, and challenge what it truly means to feel alive.”
As an artist, I invite the audience to take the journey with me.
