Started with NDT in 2024
Paloma Lassere was born in Carcassonne, France. She trained at the École nationale supérieure de danse in Marseille and continued her studies at the conservatories in Paris and Lyon. After her training, she danced with Delattre Dance Company and Opéra National du Rhin before joining Staatstheater Nürnberg under the artistic direction of Goyo Montero as a company member from 2021 to 2024. In 2024, she joined Nederlands Dans Theater, where she is now a member of NDT 1.

Why did you become a professional dancer?
“Dance has always felt like the most natural way for me to express myself. What started as a passion gradually became a necessity. I realized that movement allowed me to communicate emotions and experiences that words sometimes couldn’t. Becoming a professional dancer felt like the most natural path for me.”
What is it about NDT that inspires your artistry?
“NDT inspires me through its combination of artistic freedom, vulnerability, and excellence. It challenges me to take risks, explore new dimensions of myself, and use movement as a powerful form of human expression.”
How do you think art impacts your personal life, and the way you view the world?
“Art has taught me to stay curious, open, and connected. It helps me see beauty in authenticity and reminds me that there are many ways to experience and understand the world.”
“I hope to create genuine moments of connection and emotion. If someone leaves feeling inspired, moved, or more connected to themselves, then I’ve shared something meaningful.”
