Started with NDT in 2021

Demi Bawon was born in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and has Surinamese-Javanese roots. At the age of ten, she began her training at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, where she studied for ten years. During this time, she had the opportunity to work with Nederlands Dans Theater. After an internship with NDT 2 in the 2020–2021 season, she joined NDT 2 as a dancer in 2021. In 2024, she moved to NDT 1, where she is now a member.
