Dancer in the Classroom
Watch and move along with our Dancer in the Classroom
A dance solo, right in the middle of your classroom. That’s what children in grades 1 through 4 can experience when an NDT dancer comes to visit. After the performance, they can find out what it’s like to be a dancer, guided by the dancer and one of our dance teachers.

✔︎ 4 different performances possible
There will be two editions of Dancer in the Classroom in the 2026-2027 season:
- from 26 October – 13 November 2026
- from 10 May – 28 May 2027

Registration
- Schools in the region can register from 11 May. You can register here:REGISTER
- Schools in The Hague can register via Cultuurschakel. The deadline for registration is 15 June 2026.
- You will be informed by your contact person at NDT by the week of 29 June at the latest as to whether your school has been selected to take part.
Terms
- Minimum of two classes
- When registering, please mention the class times at your school
- Indicate your preference for the date of the activity
- This activity requires a closeable room of min. 64m2
Our preschool teachers are very excited about the quality of the dancer in the classroom and the workshops that were held. The children also found it very special. For many, modern dance was really new to see and experience.
