Live stream ‘Sudden and Suspended’ – April 23, 2022

On Saturday April 23, we welcome you in NDT’s digital theater for the live stream of the NDT 2 program Sudden and Suspended.

Unfortunately, it is no longer possible to buy a ticket for this performance.

A flickering light is used during the first piece (no stroboscope), this could possibly be received as bothersome.

Performance times and duration

We love to welcome you at the broadcast between 7.30 and 8.15 PM (CEST). There is no video image visible yet, but a screen with programme information. You can use this time to test your connection and equipment, and possibly cast it to the TV. Make sure you prepare on time and check your equipment well in advance so you don’t miss out on the performance. The actual performance starts at 8.15 PM (CEST) and lasts approximately for 2 hours and 15 minutes.

I can't find my unique access link. What can I do?

After your payment you will receive a unique link in the email address you used. Perhaps the mail ended up in your spam box, you can search the subject of the confirmation mail, it starts with: 'Please, your unique link for...'. Can't find the link? Send a mail to

Can I cast the video to my TV screen?

Yes, that is possible. Check this link (in Dutch) for an instruction.

Please note: it is not possible to cast from your iPhone or iPad to a Google Chromecast.  Instead, use your laptop or PC, open the Google Chrome browser and the live stream page / link. Then cast your browser tab to your Chromecast by clicking on the menu in the browser (3 dots) and click on 'cast'. Read more instructions here (english)

I don't see anything on the live stream or the live stream seems to have see stopped. What can I do?

In most of the cases, it will help te refresh the webpage in your browser. You can do so by clicking on F5 (Windows) on your keyboard, or  Command ⌘ + R (Mac) . Or use the icon that is visible in the browser (arrow) to refresh. Then click on the 'start stream' button again and the click the 'playbutton'.

If this doesn't work, please check the following steps:

  • Please check if you use the correct link for access to the live stream
  • Check your internet connection (if you can, use a wired internet connection)
  • Check if your browser has had  recent update.
  • Check if cookies in your browser are enabled.
  • Check if the batteries of your device are fully loaded.

Can I chat with the help desk or otherwise ask for help if something goes wrong?

During a livestream, our online help desk is available to you via the chat in Digital Theater. Open the chat via the icon at the bottom right. It is also possible to receive help directly via an email to

Can I watch the live stream on more than one device simultanously?

We recommend using the link on 1 device.

Film your applause after the performance, post it in a story on Instagram and tag @ndtdance to encourage the dancers!

Online Open Studio

Remember! On this day we are also hosting a brand new Online Open Studio!

Develop your dance talent by working together with one of our dancers on the repertoire of our choreographers. You will experience how we work and are introduced to the many different dance languages at NDT. Each Open Studio incorporates a different NDT repertoire, which is the same repertoire that will be performed by NDT on the days surrounding the workshop dates. A ticket for the corresponding performance gives a discount on the participation fee.

This edition is all about Sudden and Suspended and will be taught by the excited NDT 2 dancer Cassandra Martin.
