Season 2022-2023

We are delighted to share the 2022-2023 season with you! This programme intersects a multiplicity of ideas, perspectives, and styles by some of today’s most passionate, emerging and established voices working in contemporary dance.

We are excited to offer you a season that celebrates Jiří Kylián and Marco Goecke with full evening programmes, features the return of Ohad Naharin’s monumental The Hole, highlights Crystal Pite collaborating with NDT 2 for the first time, and showcases works by internationally renowned makers Sharon Eyal, Felix Landerer, Alexander Ekman and rising new voices Noé Soulier, Botis Seva and Andrew Skeels. We hope you will agree, it is a season that invites you to experience a richness of approaches in dance.

With every initiative NDT takes, we aim to deepen the experience of art and the imagination, by appealing to creativity in active and reflective forms, always using dance as the starting point. Today, more than ever, we need to come together, we need art and the channels of expression it can provoke and inspire in us to examine the world. We look forward to seeing you throughout the season!

Warmly,

Emily Molnar | Artistic Director

More NDT

In addition to our theater performances, in season 2022-2023 we will again present two series of livestreams and our programmes within the collaboration with Korzo – such as Here we live and now and De keuze van Korzo en NDT – and with the Royal Conservatoire Young Talent Project. We will inform you about this at a later time.

New visual identity

NDT is a community with an open culture where the art of dance is ‘of and for everyone’. Where you, we and everyone else learns, meets, is inspired and has fun.

We have translated this core idea of NDT into a new visual identity that fits in perfectly. The first application is in the seasonal brochure, to which all our communications this year will follow.
