Woven State

NDT 1

NDT is pleased to present a trio of works by William Forsythe (1949).
These works were chosen to provide examples of the range of Forsythe’s compositional craft, with a focus on self-governing, acapella structures. The program beautifully highlights Forsythe’s decade long engagement with counterpoint, while providing insight into the choreographer’s capacity to formally extend the structures underpinning classical ballet.

NDT 1 presents six matinee performances between December 3 and 18 in our house Amare in The Hague. Besides that, we will broadcast a registration of the performance on our website on December 16, 17 and 18.

Broadcasts of the performance

The recording was made with one remote camera. This is not a live broadcast; the performance was recorded at an earlier time.

Information about your purchased tickets for the cancelled performances

Government regulations dictate that we may use 30% of the auditorium capacity for these performances. In the case of the Danstheater Hall in Amare, this means a capacity of over 350 seats. Places are unplaced (so you have no fixed seat) and both in the theater and in the auditorium you must keep 1.5 meters distance from other visitors.

Would you like to attend one of these matinee performances? Then you can purchase a ticket for one of the performances via the agenda (scroll to top).

Please note: It is not possible to change your tickets for the original 8 PM performances to one of the matinee performances. Therefore, if you wish to attend the matinee performance, it is necessary to purchase tickets again.

Refund of original purchase
The purchase of the original performance is guaranteed to be refunded to ticket buyers. Ticket sales for NDT are handled by the Amare box office. They will contact you as soon as possible about the refund of your tickets. The box office aims to process your refund as soon as possible. However, due to the rush, this may take a little longer than you are used to. At this moment you do not have to take any action.

We hope for your understanding and patience.
