Update 8 february 2025: This is the last call for all female identifying dancers that would like to apply for NDT SI 2025. We’ve almost reached the maximum amount of applications, therefore we will close the registration for female identifying dancers soon.

*Please note that there is a maximum number of registrations we can accept. If this limit is reached before 24 February, registration will close earlier. Based on previous experience, we often reach the maximum number of registrations for female-identifying dancers well before the deadline. In such cases, registration for this group will close earlier. We therefore strongly recommend registering as soon as the registration opens. We also encourage you to regularly check our website for updates regarding deadlines and other important information.

Auditions that do not follow the description in this audition procedure will not be accepted.
Your audition must contain three elements:

1. Audition form

✓ On January 27 2025, you’ll find the form at the bottom of this page
✓ Make sure you fill out the form completely.

2. Headshot

✓ A clear frontal headshot / “passport style” photo. Recent and recognizable picture of your face in a close-up.
✓ Maximum size 2 x 3 inch or 5 x 7 cm
✓ Fileformat is .jpeg
✓ Upload your picture in the form

3. Audition video

Make sure you adhere to the specifics for the audition video mentioned in the overview below.

✓ Use YouTube (no password, publicly available) or Vimeo (no password, rating on ‘all audiences’. Do NOT password protect the video.
✓ Add only one link of your video to the assigned box in the audition form.
✓ The video must be available at least until August 2025.
✓  Maximum duration 6 minutes
✓  The video should not contain pointe work
✓  Perform the movement to music and don’t edit separate music to your video
✓  You must be clearly and completely visible, no other dancers in the video

Your audition video must include the following elements

After you submit the audition form, you will receive an automatic reply with a confirmation of your audition. If you do not receive a confirmation within 2 working days, contact us as soon as possible.

We will notify the results to you by email on Tuesday 22 April, 2025. We will make our selection based upon a range of criteria including, but not limited to retention of movement, musicality, potential and creativity. Please note that it will not be possible to receive your result before Tuesday, 22 April 2025.

ACCEPTED | When you are accepted to participate in NDT Summer Intensive 2025, see step 4 and further.

WAITING LIST | If you are not selected to participate in the course, you can be selected for the waiting list. You can be accepted from the waiting list in case a selected candidate cannot participate in the course. If you are selected for the waiting list, you have to be available to participate in the course and able to pay the course (and accommodation) fee within 14 days after we notify you about your acceptance to the course. We can offer applicants a place in the course up to one week before the start of the NDT Summer Intensive. We will regularly provide updates to candidates on the waiting list.

Payment

If you are selected to participate in the course, we will ask you to confirm your participation by email. Once we have received your confirmation, we will send you the payment instructions. The payment should be done within 30 days. If you do not receive an email from us confirming your participation within 15 working days after your payment, contact us as soon as possible.

✓ Confirm your participation (+ accommodation) within 5 work days.
✓ After your confirmation, you will receive payment information by email.
✓ Payment should be made within 30 days or you will be excluded from the course.
✓ After payment we confirm your participation by email.

ACCOMMODATION

During the course NDT offers affordable accommodation in The Hague, centrally located and within close distance of our theatre. More information on the accommodation can be found on our website.

If you are selected to participate in the course, we ask you to confirm your accommodation preference by email. Once you have confirmed, we will send you payment instructions for the accommodation. The payment should be done within 30 days.

We will send you two digital newsletters containing your schedule, route details, and additional course information.
