Meng-ke Wu werd geboren op 2 juli, 1987 in Taichung. Na haar opleiding aan de Taipei National University of the Arts van 2004 tot 2009 trad ze toe tot Tanztheater München, totdat ze in augustus 2010 onderdeel werd van NDT 2.
In juli 2013 stroomde ze door naar het eerste gezelschap, NDT 1. In 2010 ontving Wu de Tanz und Publikumpreis voor haar creatie SHE tijdens het Internationales Solo-Tanz-Theater Festival (Internationale Solo- en Dansfestival) in Stuttgart in Duitsland.
