Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) is one of the world’s leading contemporary dance companies. Behind the scenes, a dedicated team of around 70 professionals ensures every performance is a memorable experience. From light and sound design to medical support and education, every detail matters — and so do you.

We are currently looking for an interim, well-organised and independent team member to join our Company Management team.

What You’ll Do

Company Management is responsible for planning, organising and supervising the national and international tours. As Company Manager, you act as the contact person for the dancers, the artistic staff, the speakers, any guests, the various departments (Production & Planning, Technical department, Talent Development & Education, Marketing, Communication & Development) and on location with the theatre concerned.

  • You are involved in the preparation, practical execution and supervision of the production weeks towards premieres.
  • You are responsible for the coordination, organisation, logistics and supervision of the national and international tours.
  • You take on the logistical coordination for the creative team of new productions and practically assist in the overall organization of the annual audition.
  • In addition, you provide support in scheduling and planning and administrative tasks are also part of your multifaceted tasks.

What You Bring

Besides a love for the job and a keen eye for detail, you recognize yourself in the following:

  • You have at least 5 years’ experience in organisational, productional and logistical supervision of groups, preferably related to international touring.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English, written and spoken. Other languages are a plus.
  • You are flexible, both in adaptability and working hours.
  • You are creative and can deal with unexpected circumstances.
  • You have an eye for detail, have strong problem-solving skills and can deal with, and handle stress.
  • You have excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • General knowledge of the contemporary dance sector and an interest in contemporary dance is an advantage.
  • You have a BHV certificate or first aid diploma or are willing to follow a course.
  • You preferably live in The Hague.
