Where can I watch the video?

The video can basically be played on any screen: on your PC, laptop, phone or tablet. For the most optimal theater experience, we recommend using as large a screen as possible, or for example by connecting your laptop to a television.

What do I need to watch the video?

You need a few things to watch the video:
- A device to watch the video on. Preferably a tablet, laptop or PC, but the video can also be viewed on a smartphone.
- The device should at least have a recent browser (such as: Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari) and a good internet connection. Via a landline cable works best, but via WIFI or 4G is also possible.
- The unique, personal access link. You will receive this via email once we have received your payment.

The video won't play, I see a play icon with a line crossed through it - now what?

Should you be unable to play the video after purchasing the link, first check if you have accepted all cookies on our website. Scroll all the way down the page and click on 'manage cookies' and check that all boxes are ticked, or open the purchased link in another browser and accept all cookies there.

I can't find my link, what should I do now?

Your unique link was sent to the email address you used to purchase a ticket immediately after you completed your order and payment. See if the email ended up in your spam folder. The subject of the email begins with: "Here you go, your unique access link for...". If you really can't find the mail, please contact our help desk at info@ndt.nl. Our staff will be available online on Saturday, April 1, to assist you further.

As of when can I watch the video?

Climb the sky can be viewed online on Saturday, April 1. You can purchase your ticket for that weekend until 11:59 p.m. Saturday night. At the time of purchase, you will have 24 hours to watch the performance.

Can I watch or pause the video later?

You certainly can, but only on April 1 between 00:00 (CET) and 23:59 (CET)

 

Can I switch devices while watching the video?

You can, just make sure you copy and paste the URL from the email into on the desired device/in the desired browser.

Can I use Chromecast / AppleTV etc. to cast the video on my TV?

Yes, this is possible. You can find more info on how to do this via this link. Or read this quick start guide from Google on how to cast via Google Chromecast.

Note that you cannot cast to a Google Chromecast via an iPad or iPhone. However, you can do this via a laptop by opening the link of the live stream in the Google Chrome web browser and then cast the tab to your Chromecast (this option is in the menu, three bullet points in the upper right corner).

With how many people can I watch the video?

You will receive a unique link after payment. Do not share it with others.

 

Which browsers are suitable for viewing the live stream?

The live stream works best on an Internet browser that is up to date. Suitable browsers are Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari.

Can I watch the video from abroad?

Yes, it is possible!

I bought a ticket for a video on demand. Now what?

As soon as we receive your payment, you will automatically and immediately receive an e-mail with an access link. This link will allow you to watch the video. It is a unique and personal link, we advise you not to share it with anyone else.

What should I do if I don't see anything on the screen or my screen freezes?

It is often sufficient to refresh the page your browser.This can be done via F5 on the keyboard (Windows) or Command ⌘ + R (Mac). Often the browser also has an icon (round arrow) that can be used to refresh the page. Click the "start video" button and then the play button to start the video.

If the video is still not working properly, you can try the following options:
- Check the access link. Is it the correct link from the confirmation email?
- Check your browser and if it has been recently updated. Suitable browsers are Google Chrome, Firefox en Safari.
- Check that your device's battery is sufficiently charged.

Will there be remote assistance for (technical) questions during the video on demand weekend?

On the website you will find the overview of frequently asked questions. If the answer to your question is not listed here, please send an email to info@ndt.nl. We will be online on Saturday, April 1 to answer all questions.

How can I cast to Chromecast from the video player?

  1. Make sure the laptop, tablet of phone that you're using to watch the event is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Chromecast.
  2. Open the event in the latest version of the Google Chrome browser.
  3. When you're connected to the right network you should see a Chromecast icon in the bottom right corner of the video player. Click this icon to start casting.
  4. Don't see an icon in the player? Try casting directly from the Google Chrome browser (See below for further information).

How can I cast to an Apple TV or a television with Airplay support from the video player?

  1. Make sure the laptop, tablet of phone that you're using to watch the event is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Apple TV or television with Airplay support.
  2. Open the event in the Safari browser.
  3. When you're connected to the right network you should see an Airplay icon in the bottom right corner of the video player. Click this icon to start casting to your Apple TV.
  4. Don't see an icon in the player? Try casting directly from your operating system, MacOS or iOS.

How can I cast to Chromecast from the Google Chrome browser?

  1. Make sure the laptop, tablet of phone that you're using to watch the event is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the Chromecast.
  2. Open the event in the latest version of the Google Chrome browser.
  3. Next, click the icon with three dots in the upper right corner of the Chrome window.
  4. Open the cast menu and select the Chromecast device to which you want to cast.

How can I pay?

There are several payment options: iDEAL, credit card and PayPal.
