For Dior’s spring-summer collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri took inspiration from Catherine de’ Medici. The pieces full of corsets, lace and embroidered flowers were presented in style in September ’22. The setting (a cardboard castle worked out in detail) was not only the backdrop for the collection, but also for a choreography by choreographer duo (and former NDT 1 dancers) Imre van Opstal and Marne van Opstal. NDT 1 dancer Madoka Kariya, former NDT 1 dancers Chloe Albaret and former NDT 2 dancer Toon Lobach can also be seen dancing in this renaissance fashion show.
Movement in delicate fabrics with soft colours is at the heart of Issey Miyake’s spring-summer collection. The fashion show culminates in a dance performance in which you will see NDT 1 dancer Boston Gallacher shine!
NDT 1 dancer Madoka Kariya was not only featured in the Dior presentation, but also in beautiful people’s spring-summer show.
