Close Up #4

Rise and Fall

Who doesn’t enjoy observing the leaves from the trees changing into multi-coloured works of art? The bare and vulnerable branches  reveal the true and beautiful scenery underneath. Fall, the season of joyful experiences with friends and family that provides us with things to look forward to. This fourth edition is about a new choreographic voice at NDT, Marcos Morau, a glimpse in NDT’s costume atelier and about Prince Credell, who will soon leave NDT 1 as a dancer and found a new path within the company.

Just two weeks ago NDT moved into their new home and we are delighted! The Dancetheater is beautiful. The studio’s of the dancers are gorgeous and filled with daylight. Employees are back in their new offices and bring the company even more to life. It makes us realize that NDT revolves around something more than a singularle art form, artist or audience. It is a compelling collection of people who seek creativity as a source of inspiration, joy, and transformation – and that includes you. We truly thank you for your ongoing engagement with the company as a Fonds NDT-participant, Friend or close relation and greatly appreciate your feedback, questions and thoughts, so feel free to keep sharing them with us!

I wish you a lot of reading pleasure!

Warm wishes,
Emily Molnar
Artistic Director
