I think that dance is beautiful because it is able to make the process of life and transformation completely transparent. Each day we are different and that is why the exploration can be endless.
To be able to connect with strangers, with friends, with my mother and father, or with myself through this art form has helped me find some sort of truth in what I am doing. It’s in these moments where I feel that every sense is heightened. We are aware of time passing and I am met with these duelling feelings of discovery and escape. To be able to spend most my time exploring my body has brought me deeper into reality while at the same time, being able to live in my ultimate fantasy. – Thalia
