Born in France, Cyril Baldy studied ballet in Paris at The Conservatoire National Supérieur. As a dancer he worked with the Jeune Ballet de France, NederlandsDans Theater (NDT 2 and NDT 1) and Frankfurt Ballet before The Forsythe Company from 2005 to 2014. Since 2014, along side teaching internationally, he primarily choreographs, teaches and stages William Forsythe’s repertoire.

From 26 March, NDT 2 presents I dreamt, it was. Featuring a world premiere by associate choreographers Imre van Opstal and Marne van Opstal, alongside the groovy SAABA (2021) by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar in a version specially adapted for NDT 2. Irresistible!
