In the 2026–2027 season, we continue our journey, grounded in curiosity, openness, and risk, creating works with courage while never losing sight of who we are.
From 26 March, NDT 2 presents I dreamt, it was. Featuring a world premiere by associate choreographers Imre van Opstal and Marne van Opstal, alongside the groovy SAABA (2021) by Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar in a version specially adapted for NDT 2. Irresistible!
As a member of the NDT Circles, you have priority access from 31 March to 6 April to book tickets or subscriptions for the performances at Amare (The Hague) and Internationaal Theater Amsterdam for the 2026–2027 season.
You are warmly invited to the private receptions for invited guests during the première performances at Amare. We therefore recommend booking première tickets, so you can make use of this opportunity and meet dancers, the artistic team and other Circle members.
Make sure to purchase your tickets with priority between 31 March and 6 April. From 7 April, tickets will also be available to other audiences.
NDT Circle members in Amsterdam can also book tickets with priority for Internationaal Theater Amsterdam from 31 March. As in previous years, these tickets can only be reserved via NDT using this booking form. We will ensure you receive excellent seats.
Please indicate your preferred performances at Internationaal Theater Amsterdam.
Be sure to act quickly and secure the best seats. From 7 April, ticket sales will open to other NDT Supporters, and from 14 April, tickets will be available to the general public.
When you attend three or more different performances in The Hague, you receive a 10% discount.
For the 2026–2027 season, it is once again possible to purchase a première subscription. With a première subscription, you receive a 15% discount. Subscriptions are available across all seating ranks, from ranks 1 to 4. If you choose a specific rank, all performances will be attended within that rank.
There are two types of première subscriptions:
• Première subscription
• Première Plus subscription, including a ticket for Switch ’27
Please note that if you wish to renew your subscription for the next season, it is unfortunately not possible to retain the same seats. You will need to select new seats.
This season, it is again possible to purchase a dernière subscription for all final performances of each programme taking place at Amare, The Hague. With a dernière subscription, you receive a 10% discount. This subscription is available across all seating ranks, from rank 1 to 4. If you choose a specific rank, all performances will be attended within that rank.
The first three rows in the Danstheaterzaal at Amare are not available for any performances, as these seats are blocked for artistic purposes. It is possible that these rows will be released at a later stage. Would you like to secure an excellent seat close to the stage? We recommend booking seats in row 4 (First rank tickets).

New creations by NDT dancers
An annual favourite of ours is Switch: an evening entirely curated, produced, and choreographed by the dancers of NDT 1 and NDT 2. Switch began over 40 years ago, born from the need of the dancers to be creative and experimental, and to explore other aspects of their artistic identity. Over the years it has developed into a professionally produced and much-loved charity event in our home in The Hague.

We’re thrilled to present the first full-length evening by our new associate choreographer Marcos Morau. This world premiere invites you to fully explore Morau’s imaginative space between contemporary dance and physical theatre. Inspired by the music and life of renowned composer Benjamin Clementine, the work urges us not to lose the connection with ourselves or each other.

In Everywhere is here, we explore two distinct voices within contemporary dance, both poetic and evocative in their own way. We present a new work by our associate choreographer Marco Goecke, alongside the captivating world of Ties Unseen (2024) by Christos Papadopoulos.

In addition to our regular theatre programme, we will also present online performances in Digital Theatre during the 2026–2027 season, as well as programmes developed in collaboration with Korzo, such as Here we live and now, and with the Royal Conservatoire’s Young Talent Project. We will share more information about these at a later moment.
When you purchase a Premiere Subscription for our premiere performances at Amare, you will receive a 15% discount on all performances. You can choose your subscriptions for all ranks, rank 1 to 4. If you choose a particular rank, you can attend all performances on that rank only.
Please note that if you wish to take out a new season ticket for next season, it is unfortunately not possible to keep the same seats. You will therefore choose your seats again.
If you visit three or more different performances in The Hague, you will receive a 10% discount. After selecting a performance, you can click on 'add more tickets' - this will take you back to the agenda overview. There you choose a new performance and go through the ordering process at the box office. This will add up the performances in your shopping basket and apply the discount. Do not checkout until you have added all the shows of your choice to your shopping basket.
As a Supporter, you will receive a beautiful season poster in the week of 31 March, giving you an overview of all programmes at a glance.
As in previous years, we will also release a set of programme cards. These will be available from June via our website or to pick up at our theatre, Amare.
