Without The Hague, there would be no Nederlands Dans Theater. From our home base, we’ve been touring the world with our dance performances for decades — always carrying the heart and soul of The Hague with us.
An annual favourite of ours is Switch: an evening entirely curated, produced, and choreographed by the dancers of NDT 1 and NDT 2. The 2026 edition of Switch takes place on 17 January.

This performance is suitable for a wide audience, including children, teens and adults.
One part of the performance (the new work by Jan Martens) contains flickering light, bright flashes and changing (colour) patterns, which may trigger an epileptic seizure in sensitive individuals.

Children are welcome to attend, but we recommend parental guidance or presence for visitors up to the age of 14.
Partial nudity, strong language, themes of illness and extinction, and intense visual and aural effects such as stroboscopic lighting. It is not recommended for young children.
