'Figures in Extinction [3.0] requiem' toont de afstand die we hebben tot de dood en hen die ons zijn voorgegaan.

Dit werk is onderdeel van het avondvullende drieluik Figures in Extinction.

  1. Danser Jon Bond beweegt over het toneel met de armen omhoog, terwijl achter hem een projectie van abstracte lichtlijnen zichtbaar is. Het gerichte licht laat het lichaam afsteken tegen de donkere achtergrond.
  2. Danser Demi Bawon staat centraal op het toneel terwijl andere dansers in beweging om haar heen cirkelen. Gericht licht verlicht de groep tegen een donkere achtergrond.
  3. Omani Omskirk staat centraal op het toneel met een witte doek over de armen. Drie dansers staan verspreid achter haar in het licht van een spot tegen een donkere achtergrond.
  4. Danser Kele Roberson beweegt laag over de toneelvloer terwijl boven het podium een projectie van vertakkende lichtlijnen zichtbaar is. Het donkere decor benadrukt het contrast tussen lichaam en licht.
  5. Danser Emmitt Cawley buigt voorover boven een ziekenhuisbed terwijl een tweede danser achter hem staat. De scène speelt zich af in een kamer met medische apparatuur en zacht, gericht licht.
  6. Silhouetten van een groep dansers staan voor een fel verlichte projectie van lichtlijnen die zich als een netwerk over een donkere achtergrond verspreiden.
