Gaga/people class
Your chance to experience it all during the NDT Open Night by joining a dance class for non-dancers!
The Gaga/people class by Ian Robinson (former dancer of Batsheva Dance Company) is open to all people ages 16+, regardless of their background in dance or movement. No previous dance experience is needed. An opportunity for everybody interested to experience this inspirational class from the course program!
About Gaga
Gaga is the movement language developed by Ohad Naharin, parallel to his work as a choreographer and the artistic director of Batsheva Dance Company. Gaga originated from Naharin’s need to communicate with his dancers and his curiosity in the ongoing research of movement. Gaga classes offer a framework to connect to your body and imagination, experience physical sensations and the pleasure of movement. The Gaga/people class improves stamina, agility and explosive power and occurs in our welcoming, accepting and safe space! Read more here
Note: If you join the class it’s advised to wear comfortable clothes and to be prepared to dance barefoot or in socks. It is also advisable to bring a bottle of water.
