UP & COMING CHOREOGRAPHERS
June 20 – July 6, 2019
About the performance
NDT and Korzo join forces to stimulate the development of young creators. For this edition of Up & Coming Choreographers, talented makers Juliano Nunes, Ihsan Rustem and Dimo Milev get a chance to make new creations. In a short time span of several weeks, the choreographers are challenged to work on a ballet entirely according to their own interpretation: from choreography, to scenery, costumes and light. This is done under professional supervision and in the intimate setting of the Korzo theater in The Hague.
A young, talented photography student from the Royal Academy of Art The Hague has collaborated with the programme Up & Coming Choreographers: Linda Zhengová. With her camera, she follows the choreographers in their creations. The result will be exhibited in the foyer of Korzo theater during the performances, June 20 until June 22 and July 3 until July 6.
