What can you tell us about the latest NDT 2 tour?
“We’re currently on an amazing European tour, although it does involve a lot of long travel days and one-night stops. And just when you’ve figured out who to reach out to for what in one theatre, you’re already heading to the next. But despite all the challenges, I especially love the programme we’re touring with right now. Of course, I’ve already seen Folkå by our associate choreographer Marcos Morau about a hundred times and I still love it, but during SAABA by Sharon Eyal I find myself watching from the wings. I’m completely mesmerised by the music and the incredible choreography.”
Do you have a fun anecdote to share?
“Anything can happen in this job. From issues with bus drivers to cancelled flights or suitcases full of costumes not making it onto the plane. But somehow, we always manage to make it fun together, because we’re all in the same boat. Of course, things don’t always go smoothly, but I always try to keep the mood up. Luckily, I have lovely colleagues who are very good at doing the same.”
