Welcome to NDT's digital theater

We welcome you in NDT’s digital theater for the live stream of I wonder where the dreams I don’t remember go performed by NDT 1 on December 5!
To start the stream, first click on ‘play stream’ and then on the play button in the video screen that’s on the top of this page.

The actual performance starts on Thursday, December 5 at 8:00 PM (CET) and lasts approximately 40 minutes. The live broadcast starts an hour earlier. Between 7 and 8 PM there is no video yet, only a screen with the evening’s program. You can use this time to test your connection and equipment, and possibly cast it to the TV.

Prior tot the performance, around 7:45 PM, we will show a glimpse backstage in rehearsals, including an interview with dancers!

Film and share your applause!

FAQ

I don't see anything on the live stream or the live stream seems to have see stopped. What can I do?

In most of the cases, it will help te refresh the webpage in your browser. You can do so by clicking on F5 (Windows) on your keyboard, or  Command ⌘ + R (Mac) . Or use the icon that is visible in the browser (arrow) to refresh. Then click on the 'start stream' button again and the click the 'playbutton'.

If this doesn't work, please check the following steps:

  • Please check if you use the correct link for access to the live stream
  • Check your internet connection (if you can, use a wired internet connection)
  • Check if your browser has had  recent update.
  • Check if cookies in your browser are enabled.
  • Check if the batteries of your device are fully loaded.

Can I cast the video to my TV screen?

Yes, that is possible. Check this link (in Dutch) for an instruction.

Please note: it is not possible to cast from your iPhone or iPad to a Google Chromecast.  Instead, use your laptop or PC, open the Google Chrome browser and the live stream page / link. Then cast your browser tab to your Chromecast by clicking on the menu in the browser (3 dots) and click on 'cast'. Read more instructions here (english)

Is there technical support available during the live stream?

Op NDT's  website we've created a page with frequently asked questions. During the performance you are able to ask your questions to our helpdesk through a live chat. The helpdesk is available from 7-9 PM. Also keep checking the NDT Twitter account for updates.

Will the livestream be recorded?

No, the livestream will not be recorded and can only be viewed live.

About the programme

I WONDER WHERE THE DREAMS I DON’T REMEMBER GO (WorLD PREMIeRE) – YOANN BOURGEOIS

The work by the French Yoann Bourgeois is an entanglement of disciplines that connects choreography, dance, and acrobatics. His movements, albeit dynamic and an exploration of the constraints of one’s physical forces, are counterbalanced by an indistinguishable precision and execution.

After the success of Bourgeois’ first collaboration with the company called Little song for NDT 2 in 2019, Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) is very pleased to present his newest and first NDT 1 piece I wonder where the dreams I don’t remember go. This work premieres on December 3, 2020 in NDT’s own house, the Lucent Danstheater in The Hague, and runs until December 19. The performances are available to a small audience and will be livestreamed on December 3, 4, and 5 via the website of NDT.
