NDT is very concerned about the war that is currently taking place in Ukraine. In the dance world, all nationalities work together in good harmony and we want to continue to do so, because dance connects people. We strongly condemn this war and hope that the brutal violence will stop. Our support goes out to all people who suffer from the violence of war.

To show solidarity and to express sympathy and support, the cultural field is organizing various activities in the weekend of March 4, 5 and 6 under the name ?rt for Ukraine | Culture Supports Ukraine. NDT is also supporting this initiative, together with Amare, Residentie Orkest The Hague, Royal Conservatoire and Het Nationale Theater on Sunday March 6, 2022.

Amare for Ukraine

Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 3 p.m. (CET) Amare & Friends will host a benefit concert for Ukraine in the Amare Concert Hall. Alongside musicians from the Residentie Orkest, students from the Royal Conservatoire and actors from het Nationale Theater, various soloist friends from Ukraine and elsewhere will perform. Besides music and stories from Ukraine, the programme includes works by Chopin, Skoryk, Vasks, Elgar, Strootman, Fondse and Bach.
