Op 28 januari 2023 organiseren we verschillende GRATIS online workshops en activiteiten om jouw NDT SI 2023 ervaring een kickstart te geven tijdens: A Taste of NDT SI 2023

In de 2023 serie van A Taste of NDT SI willen we jonge dansstudenten en dansprofessionals van over de hele wereld inspireren en hen de NDT Summer Intensive ervaring geven door middel van korte improvisatie en repertoire workshops. Je kunt deelnemen aan de online workshops, die worden gegeven door onze eigen NDT-dansers en artistieke staf, om een voorproefje te krijgen van hoe onze Summer Intensive in zijn werk gaat en wat de doelstellingen zijn. A Taste of NDT SI is ook een veilige plek waar we kennis kunnen uitwisselen en van elkaar kunnen leren op verschillende manieren door middel van zowel virtueel bewegingsonderzoek als dialoog. We organiseren op deze dag een korte praktische informatie sessie over hoe je je kunt aanmelden voor de NDT Summer Intensive, evenals een Artist Exchange met NDT-dansers, stafleden en workshop deelnemers om de ruimte te creëren voor artistieke vragen rond verschillende onderwerpen.

Programme January 28, 2023

11.30 AM-12.30 PM (CET): Improvisation Workshop

We will start of this special day with an improvisation session. Join one of our dancers in this workshop where you will discover new ways of expressing yourself through movement. With attention for subtlety and refinement, opening a physical world together, you will have the opportunity to explore improvisation with dancers all over the world.

1.00-1.45 PM (CET): Information session NDT Summer Intensive 2023

Learn more about the NDT Summer Intensive 2023 during this information session with one of our staff members. During the session we will elaborate on the artistic vision of the course, the audition, and scholarship procedures. There will plenty of room for you to ask all of the questions that you have regarding the course, and how to apply and register.

2.00-2.45 PM (CET): Artists Exchange

Take this opportunity to have a personal conversation with one of our dancers or staff members. The dancers of NDT 1 and NDT 2 can share their insights with you as the groups are divided into smaller clusters to discuss specific issues that are relevant to your artistic journey and path. There is room to ask questions, share your thoughts and have a discussion together.

3.15-4.45 PM (CET): NDT 1 Repertoire Workshop

During this workshop you will get a preview of our NDT SI repertoire workshops. Develop your dance talent by working together with one of our dancers on the repertoire by our choreographers. Together with a dancer from NDT 1, you will experience how we work at NDT.

Participate

All intermediate/advanced dancers age 14 and up can register for the FREE workshops and activities within the program of A Taste of NDT SI . You register per individual workshop/activity. Due to limited available spots, please make sure you can participate in the activity before you register.

Info about NDT Summer Intensive 2023

We’re very excited to announce that registration for NDT Summer Intensive 2023 will open on Monday 30 January 2023.

NDT Summer Intensive is a unique experience which takes place in the atmosphere and surroundings of our company’s home. We offer a professional training course aimed to help you grow as a contemporary dancer and deepen your personal development. We use our tradition, knowledge, vision, and innovation in dance, art, and education to generate a fruitful artistic experience by creating a space for different perspectives, conversations, and exploration facilitated by an international team of choreographers and teachers. The participants can take these tools with them in the near future, and throughout their dance career.
