Switch '10

Kalinga Foundation was the charity chosen for 2010.

A quite recent Foundation run by volunteers who aim to break the vicious cycle of poverty for deprived (street)children in the Philippines by offering help on a structural basis through education.

They work on smaller scales but in such structured way that will eventually offer those children a chance to find their place in society, a place they are all entitled to.

This foundation’s two biggest projects are the Papaya School and the Apple Project (scholarships). 

SWITCH collected € 21.000 and  € 3.000  in cash (donation at the evening it self) for Kalinga.
