Garbo Laughs

Marco Goecke's choreographies are sensational, unique and innovative. He is the master of the dark atmosphere, of suggestion, magic and absurdism. With each new ballet, the German choreographer knows how to surprise the audience with numerous allusions and combinations: shadow boxing, mime, slapstick in super-fast movements and abrupt changes in tempo. This creation is his second for Nederlands Dans Theater. In 2008 he made Nichts for Nederlands Dans Theater 2.
